Skip's 4-Day Virtual Zoom Workshop at Cheap Joe's CANCELLED

In this interactive 4-day online class, Skip Lawrence draws on 60plus years of art experience and wisdom to teach you how to think like an artist!

It is your ideas and feelings, how YOU perceive the world that makes your point of view personal and valuable. He guides you how to bring that originality to YOUR ART.

You can work in any medium or style. All experience levels are welcome. This is not a "paint along" workshop. A willingness to try new things and step out of your comfort zone is your best "supplies."

Workshop runs on Zoom, from noon to 4pm, EST, each day.
On day 1, you’ll explore what you love in subject, materials, size, and approach. You can create a painting each day, or work on one painting over the 4-day workshop. On day 2, you’ll explore mark-making that expresses who you are in color, line, value, etc. On day 3, find your style: realism, abstraction, or non-objective. On days 2 and 4, there will be a group critique, sharing your ideas and discoveries, and on day 4, there will be a self-evaluation and final day of sharing. It is always inspiring to see the variety of styles and expressions that show up in a group !

This 4-day class begins on Tuesday and runs through Friday.

Cheap Joe’s will host this live, online workshop through Zoom, and the sessions will be recorded.

Participating, enrolled students will receive private, unlimited, lifetime access to the videos on our YouTube channel.
